# Overview

The AwardTool API is a unified, enterprise-ready platform for building award-travel search and booking experiences. It provides access to real-time flight award availability, fast Panorama searches for broad travel discovery, points-based hotel availability, aircraft seat maps, and supporting data-quality utilities—all through consistent, developer-friendly interfaces.

AwardTool aggregates and normalizes information from supported airline and hotel loyalty programs, reducing the complexity of working with multiple data sources. Depending on the service, responses may include flight itineraries, cabin-level availability, mileage requirements, taxes and surcharges, hotel redemption options, and aircraft seating information.

The APIs are designed for scalable use in many different applications. Requests require an AwardTool API key, while certain operations—such as real-time flight searches—use an asynchronous workflow in which clients submit a search and retrieve results incrementally using a task ID.

Each section of this documentation includes endpoint details, request parameters, example payloads, response structures, usage constraints, and implementation guidance to help you integrate quickly and reliably.
